As for barrel length, no one barrel length is inherently more accurate as far as the gun, itself, should you put the gun in a machine rest. In other words, there can be as much raw accuracy in a short barrel as a long barrel. Different barrel lengths do affect how well we the shooter can squeeze accuracy out of the gun, though.
The length is ok but the head space is too large so I have to take it down some more. So I will be busy pulling bullets dumping what little powder there is in the K-mode. I can use the brass and bullets and the brass. Yet another leason learned, I will be sure to tell the The Bore House just how good their ammo worked for me.
length volleyball court, Here are my initial impressions: The gun is only 2 oz lighter than a Ruger Single Six with the same length barrel. It balances nicely and feels good in the hand. One complaint I've read is about how stiff the loading gate spring is. I either got an exception, or Ruger has listened and modified the spring in mid-production. I am happy to do so as I use the program constantly.

Just a thought as I have seen many good videos get removed for various reasons and often wished I had saved them. The barrel length is only slightly an issue in relation to a slow burning powder unless you are talking 2-3 inch barrels vs 6" plus. As always, the longer the bbl, the higher the velocity. Keeping the focal length long and lens or mirror curvature shallow is a classic way to minimize optical errors.
It's why those old spotting scopes you see pirates and pioneers using were extendable in several sections. Are any of you guys aware of the 500 S&W Magnum being significantly shortened and utilized in any platforms? I thought that the 500 S&W being shortened to the same case length as a .44 Magnum - 1.285 inches (32.6 mm) - would be handy to have in a 5 shot revolver ala Super Redhawk Alaska or a... That is what I am thinking as a Wild build...
